Merge the emotional intimacy and honesty of a bedroom artist with the scale and ambition of a Max Martin production, and you get singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Xander Lee. Xander strikes a balance between the polish of the Billboard charts and the unfiltered musings of a young adult, melding the melodies of mainstream pop acts such as The Weeknd and Post Malone, the visceral energy of rock bands such as Bring Me the Horizon, and the limit-breaking soundscapes of hyperpop artists such as umru or trndytrndy.  Viewing himself as a singer-songwriter who uses his voice and the computer as his primary instruments, he combines a focus on lyrical storytelling with creative sound design and production, tipping traditional pop songwriting on its head and drawing you into his searing explorations of mental health and youthful angst.

Possessing both Chinese and Korean roots, Xander aims to increase diversity in the pop music scene and to inspire other aspiring Asian-American artists.  With his intense lyrics about his experiences with bipolar disorder, Xander also wants his music to start discussions about neurodiversity and mental illness in communities of color.

Always the iconoclast, Xander Lee strives to break stylistic and musical boundaries and advance the genres he is passionate about.  Audiences can expect more creative revelations from Xander as he has several projects in progress for 2024 and 2025.
